We were told it was only the second time this had occurred. On one of the nights we had just finished eating when loudspeakers came on and we were all directed to the huge inner-hotel exhibit/ev not room because there was a tornado WARNING! Everything turned out all right but we were impressed with how staff were obviously well trained to handle emergencies calmly.
We were on the 6th floor and spoke with her.the name was a lovely kind of old fashioned literary name! We ate in the restaurant dir Carly across from the main entrance.food was good and waitress was pleasant and efficient. I think he name was Claudia, but I may be wrong. Housekeeping staff were also very friendly and efficient. Our room was just right.large, comfortable, clean. We were only there for 2 nights but she greeted us warmly every time we walked by. The one reserved did not, but she made it happen.
Hang on to f ont desk clerk, Quinn! She is a gem! When we arrived we asked if our room had a river view.
